English classes
Learn English in a warm, patient, and encouraging environment — with people who understand exactly where you are coming from.
English opens every door
Speaking English with confidence changes everything: finding a job, talking with your children's teachers, going to the doctor, making friends. Our classes are designed for adults from the Francophone community, whatever your starting level.
Classes are taught in small groups by caring instructors. New sessions are announced on our Events page and on Facebook.

Classes are held in East County: Burtonsville, White Oak, and the Silver Spring area.

Your first words and everyday phrases: introducing yourself, shopping, appointments. We start from zero, together.
Intermediate
Build vocabulary and grammar to handle work, school, and daily life conversations with growing confidence.
Advanced
Polish your fluency: professional communication, writing, and nuanced conversations.

The best way to learn a language is to speak it. Our conversation circles bring learners together in a relaxed, friendly setting — no grades, no pressure, just real conversations, laughter, and encouragement.

Who can join the classes?
Adults of all levels are welcome — from complete beginners to advanced speakers. Our classes are designed with the Francophone community in mind, but everyone is welcome.
How much do classes cost?
Nothing at all. Classes are completely free, and childcare and transportation are available so that cost is never the reason someone cannot come.
When and where do classes take place?
Sessions are announced on our Events page and Facebook. Classes are held in the Silver Spring, MD area — contact us for the current schedule.
What do I need to bring?
Just yourself and your motivation! We will tell you if any materials are needed when you register.
Want to help others learn English?
We welcome volunteer teachers and conversation partners. No teaching degree required — just patience and heart.
